Network meetings and research cooperation
Research cooperation and management have become an integral part of the portfolio of scientific activities and are increasingly relevant to careers. Both professors and managers in research management need knowledge about the organization and implementation of conferences and workshops and the associated skills for networking and for establishing and perpetuating cooperation processes and structures.
Funding for this area is intended, in particular, to promote international and / or interdisciplinary networking among OVGU scientists and their visibility. In addition, events on gender and diversity research and equal opportunities can be explicitly supported here.
Who is eligible to apply?
- scientists in all phases of their qualification as personal support
- a work area (chair, faculty, research group, etc.) for material funding at in-house events on the topics of gender, equality, diversity, gender-sensitive career advancement, etc.
What is specifically funded?
- implementation of network meetings, own conferences or workshops on site (room rental, advertising material, fees, travel expenses, guest lecture funds, student aid fees, no catering)
- travel expenses for working group and network meetings outside
