1. In which areas am I active at OVGU:

“I worked as a research assistant in the field of history with a focus on gender studies and am therefore also interested in gender equality work, as this also plays a role in my research.”

2. What do I want to achieve with equality work:
"I have been a member of the Magdeburg Gender Campus since its inception and have also worked as a student assistant in the Equality Office. This brought me into contact with equality work at an early stage and I realized that there is still a lot to be done in this area at the OVGU. I would like to contribute to this and advocate for a more gender-sensitive and gender-equitable university. Of course, I would also like to contribute my knowledge from historical and gender studies, as I think this helps to identify and explain some inequalities and contribute to change."

 

3. What I like about the OVGU:
“I have been studying and working at the OvGU since 2003 and have been very attached to it ever since. I particularly like the size of the university, which allows for a more personal approach, making studying and working much easier and more enjoyable.”

 

4. Where to find me in my free time:
“In my ‘free time,’ I am currently a mother, and when I do have time for myself, I love singing in a choir and taking care of people in my community who need help.”
